The artwork uses locally clam shells as its primary materials, arranging them to outline the ecology rooted in the earth and to portray the life that blossoms from the land.

This collective creation embodies the understanding and interpretation of "home" in different cultures. Each house on a heart is a unique "home," carrying different stories and emotions. Through the collection of these heart houses, I attempt to build a flowing "homeland," a spiritual space that transcends regions and cultures. This open call allows me to stand in the middle of the "horizon," connecting the "home" in the cultural foundations of both places.

Through the Si Chong Xi's texts and historical narratives, the artist delves into the history of charcoal production, unraveling its stories. By connecting with local residents and their ancestral tales, a series of community art interventions emerges. These efforts extend to schools, the elderly, community members, and visitors, fostering dynamic artistic exchanges and activities that bridge generations and cultures.
